Suits.

I'm heading back to University tomorrow, which means back to work/routine for me.  Although blogging and my part-time job have kept me busy, I am now embarking on a 5-paper semester to finish off my degree.

Despite the fact I am kind of freaking out about going into my fourth and final year of study AND that my last 4-month break (maybe EVER?) is coming to an end. I am actually quite excited to see what this change brings to my wardrobe! More suits? Dress pants rather than jeans? Who knows?

Corporate wear is something that I am asked about often. Although I don't have a corporate job, my mum has always been an inspiration in that department.

Start with the basics: a well-fitted suit jacket, pant and skirt.

Change it up:

-  When I was younger I thought suits were only worn by people who work 9-5... but not all suits need to be taken seriously. For example, instead of a collared shirt I have opted to wear a cotton tank to dress it down.

-  A pop of colour never hurts. I love mixing in silk shirts with colours or prints! My favourite brands for this are Equipment and The Fable. It will break up a suit and keep it fun!

- Accessorise! Whether it be a funky heel, some cool sunnies or a bright lippy? It will change up your vibe from day-to-day!
